Hello homeo folks,

I am in a bit dilemma herethinking Since i strictly don't use any kind of homeopathic patent any more, it leaves me with potencies, triturations and mother - tinctures only. Now my problem is, i don't have any option of tonic supplement, which seems to be invaluable in selected cases, esp. with malnutrition due to nonavailability.

What if i prescribe few MTs like avena, alfa-alfa, ginseng etc.. to be taken together before food with some water as quality nutritional supplement?

Regards.

Addressing possible obstacles to cure like poor diet was one of Hahnemann's directives, so I don't see the problem with it. He felt it was vital to getting patients back to good health.

However it is important that it is nutritional of course, some tonics are actually medicinal and they may be suppressive or come with their own side effects.

Many thanks for your feedbacks.

@ Ya sure mostly nutritional, thats why i asked about avena, alfaalfa and ginseng etc.. Plz do share if you know more nutritional mothertinctures.

@ For mineral purpose i think tissue salts are enough, do you use something else? About vitamins, i have logical reasons of evolution and adaptability, to avoid all kinds of man-made vitamins esp. in bearing n nursing mothers as much as possible. It would be really helpful if we can find mother-tinctures to replace raw vitamins.

I don't use tinctures for nutrional purposes - I think the process itself begins to change the substance. I always use raw foods, only processed if necessary, to supplement where patients may be lacking. A tonic in itself is medicinal, not nutritional, as it is attempting to stimulate particular functions in the body in ways that food does not. It is a fine line though between those two - I try to err on the side of whatever is naturally occurring if possible.

I typically suggest patients take things like spirulina, chorella, barley grass, kelp, coconut oil, as well as eat fresh organically grown vegetables, as much raw frood as possible,  and possibly free-range medicine-free meat.
