Hello,

I wonder if anyone can offer any help.

I have a 1 year old cat. My vet diagnosed her with herpes when she was a kitten because she has a chronic discharge from her eye usually clear with a reddish or brown mucus discharge along with it. We tried eurph. and sul. in the past but it didn't help. She still has the discharge.

Now she has gingivitis! Red inflamed gums only along the gum line. tarter build up. She will drool a little but only when she is  kneading a blanket. She is very affectionate. loves to be pet and loves to explore outdoors. She will shiver when she eats, i believe because it is painful, she doesn't shiver any other time. She is a medium hair calico who is rather small for her age. Before i put her on antibiotics i wonder if anyone has any suggestions?

thank you

Liz

According to veterinarian Dr. H.G. Wolff, you should explore Kreosotum 6c and Mercurious sol 6c. One of these may be indicated.

He also suggests mouth rinses.  Arnica 3x, Calendula Ticture and Myrrh tincture in equal parts, a teaspoonful in 8 ounces of water to rinse the mouth with.

Let's also post your question to our holistic vet, Dr. Deva Khalsa. We won't get that answer until Sept 17.  Look for it in the Sept issue of Homeopathy 4 Everyone.

good luck with it!
