My dog is 3 1/2 years old. Here are the details:
Mid-March (2016): One-day early morning (approx. 4.15 AM) my dog vomited, which is not an issue, but suddenly he started making strange noises. I checked him and he was lying on his bed - legs on side with stiff body, foam from mouth, locked jaws most probably and did not respond to me. I am not sure about eyes, but I think they were either closed or fixed. I was too scared to check that. I kept calling his name and then he lifted his head after a few seconds and looked at me. After a minute or so he got up, drank a lot of water and became normal in a few minutes. The fit lasted for a few seconds or a minute.
I checked with the vet and he said it could be epilepsy fit but did not prescribe any medicine and told me to wait and watch if there's another fit then medication will start. His blood CBC was normal.
A little background- He got anti rabies annual vaccination approx. 6 days before the fit.
3 months passed normally without any problems and then suddenly:
Mid-June (2016) same time early morning (4.15 AM):
He vomited and then sat down and suddenly the fit started. He was lying on floor - legs on side with stiff body, foam from mouth, locked jaws most probably and did not respond to me. I am not sure about eyes again. I started calling his name immediately and he responded by lifting his head after a few seconds. I think time he responded a bit quicker than the first fit. He tried to get up but couldn't - slipped and fell. He also passed a bit of stool while trying to get up. After getting up, he passed more stool. I brought him outside, he urinated and then drank some water - not as much as after first fit.
I went to vet and he prescribed epilepsy medicine Gardenal 60 mg and told me to give it twice a day for 3 months.
I did not start the allopathy medicine and went to a homeopath the same day - he suggested:
- A drop of Belladona 200 twice a day at morning and night
- Causticum 200: 4 pellets twice a week at night
- B Complex tabs.
I am giving the above mentioned homeopathic medicines from almost 3 weeks, 1 Neurobion forte tab daily. Vitamin E 400, Vitamin A 50000 IU and Vitamin C 500 mg once a week. Also giving Alfa Alfa mother tincture twice a week in some water.
He's been doing OK till now after the second fit. I need to know if I am going in the right direction or should there be any changes? I really want my dog to get healthy and get rid of epilepsy. I cannot see him suffer. Please help!

You must contact the veterinary doctor soon. I think he caught something that can't imagine by us. The doctor can get the exact problem he has. Don't wait for anything like this problems. The dog has no voice to tell his problems. SO you must notice his feeling and should take the exact solution to make him okay.
