Unless your friend is a professional homeopath and has taken all of your case, don’t take any remedy suggestions from him/her. Your case must be taken by an experienced homeopath. The homeopath will take much more information and manage your case. Contact the homeopathy organization in your country for a referral. You can find that information at this link below.

You seriously need to make lifestyle modifications. Firstly, you need to start eating right. Look for foods that will help you lose those extra pounds. Cut down carbs. Second, exercise daily, at least 20-30 minutes of physical activity.
Have you quit smoking? Or it’s still on?
If you’re smoking, quit. More importantly, you need to control your diabetes. I know you’ve been trying to reduce weight, but did you lose weight? Well, all I can suggest is control diabetes, manage your weight, quit smoking and eat healthy. Gradually, your sexual health will also improve.

If you’ve already taken the Calc-carb 1M, and your friend is not a trained homeopath, it’s too late since you shouldn’t try to undo the remedy. If you have sleep apnea it’s not uncommon to be sleepy during the day. If this is a new symptom since taking the remedy, I think then that your friend has prescribed the correct remedy. It’s not unusual to be extra sleepy the first few weeks after taking a good remedy. The advice to eat well and exercise is spot on. However, it may not be enough, particularly if the diabetes is advanced. You will definitely need a seasoned homeopath to prescribe for you. It’s a lot like telling a sugar addict to stop eating sugar. He knows he should, but he can’t. It’s the addition of a remedy to address the craving that will help him. My best wishes to you. It’s a difficult road.

More thoughts: For those of you who recommend diet and exercise, while that’s needed, it’s also something he knows about. He has said that he has been dieting, but has not lost any weight. To help heal someone, we first need to be detectives. It’s not like a person wakes up in the morning and says, “Hey, I’m going to eat junk and lay around all day and do whatever it is that I know is wrong.” No, the person tries his best to do what’s right. If he were my patient, in addition to taking a full case, I would refer him to a sleep specialist to get fitted with a CPAP machine. When a person has sleep apnea, they are too exhausted to exercise. The stress of being constantly sleep deprived affects the person’s ability to metabolize properly, making it virtually impossible to loose weight regardless of how good the diet is. Since this is an easy fix, lets get it taken care of. He may find that he sleeps 12-13 hours a night for a while until he catches up and is well rested. That’s the time to start exercising, walking 20 minutes a day and some light yoga. In the meantime, I wouldn’t even recommend meditation since he will probably fall asleep doing it. Diet is not one size fits all, either. Some people need high fat and protein and others need high carbs. Some do well with mostly cooked foods and others do best with a mostly raw diet. If there isn’t someone available to do metabolic typing, he will need to experiment and see which diet he feels best on. So I’m assuming that a couple months down the road, he is on a proper remedy, is sleeping well, exercising and eating right for his metabolic type. At that time, he should begin to see some gratifying changes. You did not get into this state overnight and you won’t get out of it overnight, either. This will be a long haul.
