Any suggestions?

JA – 50 year old male

Pudendal neuropathy

Sitting painful, stress makes it worse, wine makes it better. Lot of stress at work. He has his own law firm with a number of attorneys working for him. According to him he is patient, laid back, a peace maker. He internalizes everything. According to his wife, he is gentle and compliant. He cried while he was telling me his symptoms. He and his wife have 10 children and he enjoys them. He said he didn’t plan ahead of time to have big family but it just happened and he is happy with it. Pain goes away when he lies down.

Cancer on mother’s side. Heart and diabetes on father’s side. He has low blood pressure. He grinds teeth at night.   He has recurring corneal erosion. At age 7 he had measles. Went into nervous system and heart stopped. He was a trouble maker in high school.

Not physically restless, but mentally restless. He has trouble sleeping. Restless sleep. He can’t say “no”. Likes music and ballroom dancing, but does not like other men to dance with his wife. He’s protective and jealous. The pain is worse between 2-6pm. Gets angry when opposing attorney is posturing. Disappointed with staff. Discouraged.

He is emotional and cries a lot, even at Whinny the Pooh. Greatest fear is that kids won’t be grounded with God. Afraid of heights. Gets dizzy on merry go round. Craves wine and pizza. Dislikes vegetables. Likes plain food. Does not like Oriental food.

Gave Carc-mixed 1M – nothing

Puls 30C plussed – nothing

He can’t think of anything that triggered it.  It came on suddenly.  His wife also could not think of anything.  It’s burning.

Alan gave very good advice!

I repertorized…

and unfortunately, it won’t paste here!  Maybe I could email it to you.  But, suffice it to say, the Isis “expert” analysis says Cantharis.  The totality says Arsenicum.  Especially what I found striking was seeing Cantharis as a 2 under “wine amel.”  I said, well, that was unexpected!  And of course, it has burning pains, worse touch, worse pressure.

Thanks, Elaine.  Please do mail it to me at ** you don’t have permission to see this link **.  I’d like to see the rubrics you used.  Thanks.

Needless to say I would have given the same remedies as you did. Also wondered about Oak as business man that maybe (not clear) can’t get grounded. I do not have access to my Isis programme for 2 weeks as husband managed to leave my laptop in the back of the car that took us to the airport on Monday for Singapore to see the grandchidren.

I entrusted my stuff to him because I managed to slip a week ago while clambering over furniture and caught the side of a small closet (isn’t the the term for a small chest of drawers?) and am in a lot of pain still under my ribs by my waist. Totally no bruising because of Arnica 200 I took immediately and then took Bryonis 200 and then 10M  and Bellis P 200 which helped at first but not now and I haven’t brought the remedies with me!! A&E just said internal soft tissue bruising. I hope it stops soon!!

I’m sorry Rochelle.  I hope you feel better soon.  It’s no fun to travel when you’re not feeling 100%.

Elaine has been helping me with the case.  I talked with the patient again and he said the pain is throbbing not burning.  We took out the lying down and afternoon worsening because it’s all due to the fact that he has been sitting for longer or not sitting as the case may be.  We just used agg from applied pressure.  The totality shows Bell, Nat-mur tied for 1st, Puls, Lyc, Caust, Kali-carb, Sep, Sul, Ig, OP, Plat, Bry, & phos tied for 2nd.  Expert shows Caust & Sep tied for first at 112.  The next ones is at 45.
