Hi there

I hope you can advise me.  My Homeopath suggested that I come here as she is not alllowed to treat animals.  My dog has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and also I was advised that he has water on the lungs.  He has been prescribed Cardalis half tablet every 24 hours.  Also Dehydrin half tablet every 12 hours.  My dog is about 9 (rescued street dog) so not entirely sure of his exact age.  He had a seizure in December 2015 and a second one in May 2016.  He had started panting mosty in the evenings.  The usual vet was unable to diagnose twice.  So I went to a different vet who gave the above diagnosis.  After xrays were taken of course.  So the new vet was happy with my dog after one month of the medication.  He has been drinking more water than usual and urinating more.  The vet said this would decrease over time (the urination) and it appeared that it was the case.  However, now he seems to be urinating more.  I did ask the vet about homeopathy and he laughed in my face.  I have Don Hamilton’s Homeopathy for Dogs and Cats and Im very much a student of homeopathy (in other words Im not sure which remedy to give and the dosage).  So can you give some guidance in what to give, the dose, the frequency?  It has been extremely frustrating as I have had several family dilemmas to deal with and have been away from my home, hence my beloved pet not getting sorted out quickly.  My partner didnt think to go to a different vet.  As the original one did tests for everything which all came back clear twice.  I would be extremely grateful for any tips advice and guidance.  Many thanks in advance.  ps.  The dog also limps front left leg after sleeping sometimes.
